For those who already competed

ICPC Masters México 2026 is a worldwide contest organized under ICPC Regional Contest rules, open to ICPC alumni from around the world. A competition among those who lived the ICPC as students and return to prove the level never fades.

Who can participate?

Team composition

Each team consists of three (3) contestants. One of them takes on the dual role of coach and contestant. The ideal composition is the original: the three members from their student ICPC days.

Eligibility

All three contestants must be ineligible for the current and future ICPC Regional competition cycles. They may be former competitors at any level (Preliminaries, Regionals, or World Finals) and active or former coaches at any level.

Alternative compositions

Former competitors who graduated from the same educational institution, along with coaches and former coaches from that institution.

Former competitors, coaches, or former coaches currently working at the same organization (tech company, government entity, or other).

Teams formed by members of the same family.

Teams formed by employees of a company, whether former competitors or employees who did not participate in the ICPC during their student years.

Exceptions to the above composition alternatives may be approved by the ICPC Regional Directorate in Mexico.

Modalities and Prizes

ICPC Masters México 2026 offers two modalities: In-person with limited capacity, where teams compete at ITESO in Guadalajara, and Online with no capacity restrictions, for teams participating remotely.

In-person

Limited capacity. Competition at ITESO, Guadalajara.

The winning team trophy will be awarded during the ceremony on August 8, as part of TCMX 2026 at ITESO.

Online

No capacity restrictions. Remote participation.

The winning team will receive a recognition plaque.

Other awards for winners will be announced when confirmed.

Complete the payment

Team composition consists of 3 contestants. One of the contestants must assume the role of coach-contestant.

Teams will be accepted when:

• All 3 team contestants are registered on the ICPC Global platform.
• They send a current photo of the team and photos from their time as contestants. Photos must be sent to guillot@icpcmexico.org. In the email, they must confirm which composition type the team is competing under, and which organization the team is representing, in case they are not representing an educational institution.

Notice: Foreign teams

NOTICE: The first 10 FOREIGN teams registered to compete in the IN-PERSON modality will be guaranteed a room at one of the official hotels for the night of August 8-9. In addition to meeting the requirements to be accepted, they must provide:

• Confirmation of flight or bus ticket for travel to Guadalajara.
• If traveling independently, send an email to guillot@icpcmexico.org with additional information.
